DJ - Greger F followed by a circus acrobatics workshop!

Are you ready for a Morning Beat with an extra twist? This day will be a little different in cooperation with Oslo Teatersenter! We kick of with music as usual, but then we go into Acrobatics rather than yoga! More info below <3 🎧 07:00-09:00 DJ - Greger F 09:00-10:00 Acrobatics: Play, Trust & Communication 📍 Oslo Teatersenter, Hovinveien 1, 0576 Oslo Partner Acrobatics: Play, Trust & Communication SirkusPunkt (https://www.instagram.com/sirkuspunkt/) Come explore partner acrobatics in a playful and accessible workshop at Morning Beat! This workshop is designed for a mixed group, no previous acrobatics experience is needed. We’ll start with simple foundations of working with another person: sharing weight, finding balance, giving and receiving support, and communicating clearly through both words and movement. From there, we’ll explore some basic partner-acrobatics positions and transitions, gradually building up depending on the level and confidence of the group. The focus isn’t on performing difficult tricks, but on connection, communication, trust and having fun while moving together. You can come with a partner or on your own, we’ll work with different people throughout the workshop. About the coach (https://www.instagram.com/acrooslo) Roman Chesnokov has been practising partner acrobatics for more than 25 years since 1999. His background includes circus partner acrobatics, acroyoga and competitive cheerleading, including a European silver medal and gold with Viqueens Force. He was also a semi-finalist on Norske Talenter. As a coach, Roman combines the technical side of partner acrobatics with a strong focus on communication, safety and understanding your partner. His approach is playful and practical: rather than simply teaching shapes, he helps people understand how balance, weight, timing and communication make those shapes possible. Expect movement, experimentation, a few challenges, plenty of interaction — and probably some flying. About Oslo Teatersenter: Oslo Teatersenter is a meeting place for the performing arts at all levels. 🪩 Come as you are: every age, every body, first-timers most of all. 🌿 Morning Beat is free of alcohol and drugs. We don’t take something away. We create something else. ☕ We always have coffee and tea in the mornings, and other drinks depending on the venue. 👶 Children up to 16 always come free, and we have ear protection to lend. 🎟 No refunds, but you can give your ticket to someone else. Just pass it on.

First time?

What happens at a morning?

The DJ starts when the doors open, and the floor fills while the city wakes up. The last hour turns into yoga, and you are on your way in time for work.

Can I come when I like?

Yes. Come when you like and stay as long as you like. The yoga at the end is optional: join in, or head off after the dance.

Do I need to know how to dance?

No. Nobody watches, everybody moves. Come as you are.

Can I come alone?

Many do. It is a friendly floor, and you will not stand alone for long.

What should I wear and bring?

Whatever you like to move in. Bring a mat if you stay for the yoga.

Is there something to drink?

Coffee, tea and a dance floor that’s wide awake. No alcohol, no drugs. We don’t take something away, we create something else — together.

Can I bring children?

Yes! Children are so welcome on our dance floors, and we have ear protection to lend. Children up to 16 always come free.

What if I can't make it?

Tickets are not refunded, but you can give yours to someone else. Just pass it on.

What does it cost?

From 200 kr, depending on the ticket. Children up to 16 come free.
